Someone was commenting about latency as a potent issue that could hamper cloud computing. My argument is that, what are you comparing this against? If you are comparing against an ERP app and you are remote, then the latency you would get across a cloud would be similar to the latency you would get across to your organization - both depending on the access/metro and core network that connects you to your hosts.
This is a good enough reason to then go for cloud computing.
